Bob "Soupy" Campbell

Robert E. Campbell Jr. – of Woburn, died peacefully December 22nd with his family by his side at the age of eighty-three. He was the beloved husband of sixty years to Ann M. (Danca) Campbell.

“Soupy” as he was affectionately known among friends, spent much of his life serving others. His love of fishing lead him to volunteer with the Paralyzed Veterans of America, organizing tournaments and taking veterans fishing on his boat. He also served as the Youth Director of the Massachusetts Bass Federation.

Bob was an avid fisherman and would travel across New England to participate in tournaments. For many years, he would drive his bass boat in the Woburn Halloween Parade, a cherished memory among his grandkids. A lover of classic cars, Bob was a member of many car clubs and participated in car shows across New England. 

Soupy was an amazing friend and is missed by all.
