Newfound Lake
We picked the wrong day to go to Newfound! Labor Day weekend had the sandbar busier than any of us had ever seen it and it certainly hurt the fishing.Â
Only 19 fish were brought to the scales amongst our 17 anglers. Going into the second to last tournament, Kory needed a win to wrap up AOY with one event in the bag. Fortunately for him, two early morning bites were all it took to take the win and lunker - locking him in for 2023 Angler of the Year. Congrats Kory!
Our last trail event is this Saturday at Lake Shirley and we have a dead heat for Co Angler of the year between Jess and Travis. Hopefully the fish cooperate better than they have recently for us!
